VISION
To see a South African education system where technology and technical skills empower
learners to succeed, innovate, and compete in the local and global economy.MISSION
Vista Think Tank researches and promotes the use of technology in education to improve
learning and skills development in South Africa. We study how the lack of technological
and technical skills affects the quality of education and limits opportunities for
learners.
Through research, policy engagement, and practical ideas, we aim to identify ways that
technology can be used to strengthen teaching, expand access to knowledge, and equip
learners with skills that help them adapt to a rapidly changing world. Our goal is to
support an education system that prepares students to be capable, productive, and
economically independent.
